💄 내 퍼스널컬러는 웜톤일까, 쿨톤일까?

요즘은 화장품을 고를 때도, 옷을 입을 때도
“나한테 어울리는 색”이 정말 중요하잖아요.
그래서 오늘은 제가 직접 퍼스널컬러를 확인해본 방법들을 정리해 보려고 해요.

아주 간단한 기준들이라, 거울만 있으면 누구든 따라 해볼 수 있어요!

1. 귀 밑 피부색 보기

화장을 지운 상태에서 자연광 아래에서 귀 밑 피부를 살펴보면,
붉은 기가 도는지, 노란 기가 도는지 알 수 있어요.

• 붉은 기 → 쿨톤일 가능성
• 노란 기 → 웜톤일 가능성

✔️ 저는 붉은 기가 도는 편이었어요.

2. 혈관 색으로 확인

팔 안쪽이나 손목의 혈관 색을 보면 퍼스널컬러 힌트를 얻을 수 있어요.

• 푸른빛 혈관 → 쿨톤
• 녹색빛 혈관 → 웜톤
• 푸른빛 + 녹색빛 섞여 있음 → 뉴트럴톤일 수도 있어요

✔️ 제 혈관은 선명한 푸른빛이 도는 편이었어요. (조금 징그러웠지만요 😅)

3. 나에게 어울리는 색 테스트

• 흰색 vs 아이보리
  → 흰색이 잘 어울리면 쿨톤, 아이보리가 더 잘 받으면 웜톤
   저는 흰색이 더 깔끔해 보였어요.
• 실버 vs 골드 액세서리
  → 실버가 잘 받으면 쿨톤, 골드가 어울리면 웜톤
   실버 쪽이 더 자연스럽게 어울렸어요.
• 립/블러셔/아이섀도우 색감
  → 붉은색 계열이 잘 어울리면 쿨톤, 코랄/오렌지 계열이면 웜톤
   저는 립스틱은 잘 안 바르지만,
  주변 사람들이 붉은색 아이섀도우가 잘 어울린다고 자주 얘기해줬어요.

4. 자연 모발 색

염색을 하지 않은 원래 머리카락 색도 중요한 기준이에요.

• 회갈색, 재빛 갈색, 흑갈색 → 쿨톤
• 황갈색, 붉은 브라운 → 웜톤

✔️ 저는 자연광에서 보면 머리카락이 회갈색빛에 가까워요.

5. 눈동자 주변의 흰자 밝기

눈동자 주변의 흰자색도 전체 이미지에 영향을 줘요.

• 선명하고 푸른빛의 흰자 → 쿨톤
• 부드럽고 노르스름한 흰자 → 웜톤

✔️ 저는 흰자가 푸르스름하고 선명한 편이에요.

결론 ✨

지금까지의 테스트를 종합해 보면,
저는 대부분 기준에서 쿨톤에 가까운 특징을 보였어요.

이건 퍼스널컬러보다 개인의 분위기나 명도/채도에 대한 조화감 때문이야.

💄 Is My Personal Color Warm or Cool?

These days, knowing your personal color makes a big difference—
when choosing clothes, makeup, and even accessories!

Today, I tried figuring out my own personal color using some simple self-check methods.
If you're curious too, follow along! You just need a mirror and some natural light. ☀️

1. Look at the skin behind your ear

Under natural light, check the skin behind your ear with no makeup on.

• Red undertones → likely a cool tone
• Yellow undertones → likely a warm tone

✔️ In my case, I noticed red undertones.

2. Check your vein color

Look at the veins on the inside of your wrist or arm.

• Bluish veins → Cool tone
• Greenish veins → Warm tone
• A mix of both → You might be a neutral tone

✔️ Mine were clearly blue, though honestly... the veins looked a little intense 😅

3. What colors suit you best?

Try comparing the following pairs:

• White vs Ivory
  → If white looks better → Cool tone
  → If ivory suits you more → Warm tone
   White looked cleaner and fresher on me.
• Silver vs Gold accessories
  → Silver → Cool tone
  → Gold → Warm tone
   Silver felt more natural on my skin.
• Makeup shades (especially lipsticks, blush, eyeshadow)
  → Red-based shades → Cool tone
  → Coral/Orange-based shades → Warm tone
   I don't really wear lipstick (people ask if I’m going to eat it 😅),
  but red-toned eyeshadow gets the most compliments!

4. Natural hair color

Your natural, un-dyed hair also helps determine your tone.

• Ash brown, gray-brown, black-brown → Cool tone
• Golden brown, light brown, reddish brown → Warm tone

✔️ My natural hair reflects ashy brown tones in sunlight.

5. Eye whites & eye color

This one’s subtle, but it adds to your overall image.

• Bright white with a bluish hue → Cool tone
• Soft, slightly yellowish white → Warm tone

Also, check your iris color:

• Deep, crisp brown / gray / blue-gray → Cool tone
• Warm brown / reddish light brown → Warm tone

✔️ My eye whites are quite clear and cool-toned.

After checking all five areas,
I seem to have most of the features associated with a Cool Tone!
